Umno acting chairperson Mohamad Hasan claimed that his comfortable win in the Rantau by-election proved that the people are tired of Pakatan Harapan.

"People are growing tired of the politics of slander, blaming others... doesn't lead to anywhere," he told a press conference after the Election Commission announced the official results.

Instead, the former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar said the people wanted to know how the government would lead the country through political and economic instability.
