Ceremony to be held to mark 100th year since founding of Korea's provisional government

A commemoration will be held in Seoul today to mark the 100th anniversary since the establishment of Korea's provisional government... back when Imperial Japan ruled the Peninsula with an iron fist.
On April 11th in 1919,... the government-in-exile was launched in Shanghai.
Today's event will take place in Yeouido in western Seoul, at 19:19,... or 7:19 PM Korea time -- to highlight the year the provisional government was launched.
Thousands of people are expected to attend,... including government officials,... former independence fighters,... and politicians.
A similar event will also be held tonight in Shanghai, China,... which will be attended by some South Korean political leaders as well.
