Chennai Super Kings head coach Stephen Fleming Monday said focusing too much on the big-hitting Andre Russell could backfire as Kolkata Knight Riders also have other quality batsmen in their line-up. Possibly, there are a couple of challenges. One is you ignore the other six (batsmen). And in a team that has (Chris) Lynn, (Dinesh) Karthik and (Robin) Uthappa you do that at your own peril. We've got to be careful we don't focus overtly on Russell," he said at the press conference ahead of the IPL match against KKR.

चेन्नई सुपरकिंग्स के मुख्य कोच स्टीफन फ्लेमिंग ने कहा कि आक्रामक बल्लेबाज आंद्रे रसेल पर अधिक ध्यान देना उनकी टीम के लिए नुकसानदायक हो सकता है, क्योंकि कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स की टीम में अन्य स्तरीय बल्लेबाज भी हैं।कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के खिलाफ होने वाले आईपीएल मैच की पूर्व संध्या पर फ्लेमिंग ने प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में कहा, ''संभवत: कुछ चुनौतियां हैं। उनके पास छह और बल्लेबाज हैं जिनकी आप अनदेखी नहीं कर सकते। जिस टीम में (क्रिस) लिन, (दिनेश) कार्तिक और (रोबिन) उथप्पा जैसे बल्लेबाज हो उसमें आप ऐसा करने पर खुद ही जिम्मेदार होंगे। हमें सतर्क रहना होगा कि हम रसेल पर ही अधिक ध्यान ना लगा दें।''
