Woman hiker rescued after falling into deep ravine in western China

A woman who fell into a deep ravine while hiking in China’s northwestern Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region has been rescued after emergency crews used climbing equipment to reach her. The woman was trapped for about half an hour before rescuers could descend into the ravine and then pull her out.
