National Health Insurance to begin offering partial coverage of Chuna treatment from April 8

South Korea's National Health Insurance will offer partial coverage of the cost of Chuna chiropractic therapy from today.
Patients will be able to receive the treatment that corrects spinal disorders by manually pushing and pulling the body parts at costs ranging from nine to 25 U.S. dollars.
That's much lower than the conventional cost which could run up to 180 dollars.
To prevent over-diagnosis,... patients are eligible to receive twenty Chuna procedures a year with the insurance,... while a single doctor is limited to offering Chuna therapy at the reduced cost to a maximum of 18 patients a day.
Foreigners residing in Korea will also be able to receive the therapy at reduced cost if they have enrolled in the national health insurance scheme.
