US President Donald Trump said a proposed summit with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping will only happen if Beijing and Washington can reach a trade deal. Trump made the remarks at a press conference before he met visiting Chinese Vice-Premier Liu He, who arrived in Washington for the latest round of trade talks which got underway on April 3, 2019.
