A parking lot in Chongqing, China is experimenting with a new strategy called “incline parking” to save space and accommodate more cars. Drivers park their cars on a rack which slides away and tilts back at an angle of about 30 degrees. The method has increased parking capacity in the lot from 24 to 40 vehicles.
