Ola Banned in Karnataka for starting Bike Taxi Service without approval from Transport Department

Cab aggregator Ola's licence has been suspended in Karnataka for 6 months. The Karnataka transport department has suspended the licence for the cab service after Ola started a bike taxi service without approval from the transport department. Additionally the department has alleged that that the cab service did not respond to transport dept's notice over operating bike taxis. In their response, Ola has said that they are looking into all options to reach a solution amicably. And a one which does not affect the drivers and commuters.
