What the U.S. asked for from North Korea at the Hanoi summit was not a dismantlement of its WMD and missile programs, but a freeze.
Seoul's top diplomat reaffirmed this at a session of the parliamentary special committee on inter-Korean economic cooperation.
This lines up with what her ministry submitted to parliament earlier in the week... when it said Washington was focused on defining denuclearization, freezing weapons of mass destruction and missile programs as well as developing an overall roadmap for this particular summit.
