Koreas formally express interest in co-hosting 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup

The joint hosting of a mega sporting event by the two Koreas could come sooner than imagined as South Korea's football association has formally expressed an interest in co-hosting the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
FIFA announced Tuesday that they have received a record nine expressions of interest for the top global event in women's football,… and one of the bids is by the two Koreas.
The possibility of a joint Korean bid for the tournament surfaced earlier this month,… when FIFA first mentioned the possibility of a joint Korean bid.
The host nation for the 2023 Women's World Cup is expected to be revealed in March 2020.
Meanwhile, last month the two Koreas formally expressed their intent to co-host the 2032 Olympics, five months after agreeing to work together for the joint bid.
