Today,… December 10th,... is Human Rights Day,... a day marked around the world.
Marking the day at a ceremony in Seoul this morning,... President Moon Jae-in said human rights are about accepting differences and interacting with others to maintain balance.
President Moon added,... for a nation that has endured colonization, dictatorship and war,... South Korea has an unparalleled level of human rights.
However, he stressed that more work needs to be done.

"Human rights can be secured through peace, and through human rights, peace can be achieved. Dismantling the remnants of war on the Korean Peninsula and establishing lasting peace will help the lives and human rights of all people."
