California town adopts comfort women declaration and resolution

A small town near San Francisco has adopted a comfort women resolution and declaration, stating that the suffering of the victims, whose human rights were abused by the Japanese military's sexual enslavement of them during World War II, must be remembered.
According to the Jin Duck & Kyung Sik Kim Foundation, Millbrae Mayor Wayne Lee said the pain of the comfort women shouldn't be forgotten and it was this generation's duty and responsibility to teach that dark period of history to others.
