Fox News announced on Monday that former Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile is joining the network as a commentator, making appearances on both Fox News and Fox Business.

Fox News announced on Monday that former Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile is joining the network as a commentator, making appearances on both Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.  Brazile has served as a commentator for CNN, but that tie was severed "after a series of revelations from emailed hacked by WikiLeaks showed she had provided questions in advance of CNN's broadcasts of Democratic primary debates to the Hillary Clinton campaign." In an opinion piece published by Fox News on Monday, the former DNC chair acknowledged: "I have made my share of mistakes. Some would argue I've made more than my fair share. But I have never wavered on the values and principles that shaped my commitment to public service."  "When we refuse to hear one another, we wall ourselves off from the possibility of learning and, more importantly, finding common ground," she also commented. "To bridge this great divide, we need to bust out of our comfort zone. In coming to work as a commentator at Fox News, trust me, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone. My beliefs will be challenged, and I welcome it."
