The UN Security Council has granted a sanctions waiver to five organizations to provide humanitarian assistance to North Korea.
According to its website,... the five groups include the UN Population Fund and the French NGO Premiere Urgence Internationale.
That makes a total of 20 organizations or institutions that have been granted exemptions so far.
The five groups were given the green light to send supplies to the North until September this year.
They will likely be able to deliver food and medical equipment.
