We're finding out that South Korea recently chose to re-evaluate its decision to send 10 million U.S. dollars worth of humanitarian aid to the North.
Talking to reporters on Tuesday, an official from the Unification Ministry said Seoul was working with the World Food Program to continue its support for North Korean newborns and their mothers just like in 2014, 2015, and 2019.
But the project came to an abrupt halt after a statement released by Kim Yo-jong in early June strongly criticized South Korea.
The official added that the resumption of the project will be decided depending on the progress of inter-Korean relations.
