Ocasio-Cortez: Where's The Outrage Over 23 Republicans Voting Against Anti-Hate Resolution?

Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Thursday wondered aloud about the absence of outrage over the House Republicans who voted against the anti-hate resolution.  "Where's the outrage over the 23 GOP members who voted NO on a resolution condemning bigotry today? Oh, there's none?" she wrote in a tweet. "Did they get called out, raked over, ambushed in halls and relentlessly asked why not? No? Okay. Got it."  That resolution was drafted and presented following an uproar over comments made by Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar that were deemed by many to be anti-Semitic.
Initially, the resolution only addressed bias against Israel and Jewish people, but was expanded to include, "hateful expressions of intolerance" regarding "African-Americans, Native Americans, and other people of color, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, immigrants and others." It passed on Thursday with a vote of 407-to-23.  All of the individuals who declined to approve the measure were Republicans. Reasons for the no votes included the resolution not giving enough support to Israel and failing to include Omar's name, notes the Washington Post.
