Democratic Representative-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Friday made a comment about President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner reportedly being considered for the White House Chief of Staff position.  "Ah yes, of course, it's classic Republican 'bootstrap' meritocracy: where the smartest, hardest-working, most fitting person for the job just so happens to be your son-in-law," she said via Twitter. The typically desirable position has proven challenging to fill.  Trump's first choice to replace departing Chief of Staff John Kelly was Nick Ayers, but an agreement between them could not be reached, notes CBS News. According to Trump, there are currently five "well-known" and "terrific" contenders.  The Huffington Post reported on Thursday that Kushner is among them and met with his father-in-law on Wednesday to discuss the position.
