OROP: Ex-servicemen protest outside Jaitley's residence

The ex-servicemen staged a protest outside Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's residence here on Sunday over the delay in implementation of the One Rank One Pension (OROP). One of the protestors said that Jaitley had assured the ex-servicemen of discussing OROP with Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, but nothing has been done so far. OROP demands same pension, for same rank, for same length of service, irrespective of the date of retirement.
