After Jamia University invited PM Narendra Modi for their Convocation Ceremony. The Alumni have demanded its revocation. In a letter to the VC, the Alumni remind him of Modi's 2008 remark, where he said Jamia was funding the legal fees for terrorists. This statement came in the backdrop of the college extending legal aide to its 2 students who were accused of conspiracy in the Batla House Encounter. But the V-C says the invitation stands. Though they are yet to hear from the PMO.
