Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar assures veterans that OROP roll out will happen before Diwali. After Scholars, Scientists and Filmmakers, Army Veterans have decided to return their medals, upping the OROP stir. The veterans have once again gathered at Jantar Mantar saying that they have waited for 4 months but OROP has stil not been implemented and they haven't received any response from the government. The veterans have said that all protesters from across 676 districts in the country will return their medals on november 9 and 10.
