Pakistan yet again violated the ceasefire by firing heavily and targeting the border hamlets and forward Border Outposts in Samba and Kathua districts.
“Pakistani Rangers this evening at around 1900 hrs started unprovoked firing in village Mawa of Ghagwal tehsil of Samba on the third consecutive day”, a police spokesman here said.
He said that small arms and mortars were fired from across the border while the BSF troops effectively retaliated to the firing with similar caliber weapons.
