NATION AT 9 : Black money law sees 638 declarations of Rs 3770

3770 crores & more than 600 declarations is what the NDA has managed to achieve in the fight against black money. The disclosure being a result of a one-time 90 day complaiance window for evaders to come clean. The NDA claims its a great start, but the congress has started finding holes in govt's claims. The Congress claims that the recovered amount is only a drop in the ocean and the people of India are still waiting for 15 lakhs to be desposited in their accounts even the experts while calling it a lukewarm response to govt's compliance window blame the high tax penalty for the net result. The BJP's defence, over time more black money would be brought back to India.
