Govind Pansare Murder Case: Cops record Sameer Gaikwad's friends' statement

The demand to ban Sanatan Sanstha has once again become a political talking point. The day after Shiv Sena supported Sanatan Sanstha's detained leader Sameer Gaikwad. The Congress and the NCP has sought ban on right wing group. But amidst the demand, the former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has put it's own party in a spot. According to him, the previous Congress-led government in the state under his leadership had urged the UPA government at the centre to ban the right wing outfit in 2011, but the Home Ministry did not act upon it.
