A team of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials recorded the statement of Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede for a second time. Wankhede, who is facing charges of bribery and extortion, was with officials of the vigilance department for nearly four hours at the drug enforcement agency's office in New Delhi on Monday. The NCB had initiated a probe into allegations levelled against Sameer Wankhede by NCB's independent witness Prabhakar Sail, among others.
