Preparation of 16th anniversary of Kargil War has begun

The family members of Kargil war martyrs paid tribute at the soldiers’ memorial in Drass town in Kargil city of Jammu and Kashmir marking the 16th
anniversary of the war. The members expressed pride in their relatives who laid their lives for the nation. Meanwhile, General Officer in Commanding of
Nagrota-based 16 Corps in Jammu also paid floral tribute at the memorial for the martyred soldiers. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and Chief of
Army Staff General Dalbir Singh Suhag will also visit Drass to pay homage to the martyrs of the 1999 war against Pakistan.
