The Centre today said it was not considering any proposal to grant full statehood to the national capital, a key demand of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government which is being led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. “There is no proposal with the government for granting full statehood to Delhi,” Minister of State for Home Affairs Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary said, replying to a question in the Lok Sabha.
