Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday lashed out at the media on being asked about the arrest of her close aide Shibaji Panja. "I should have arrested you, be glad you are not in jail. Why ask me about the arrest, I condemn your attitude," she retorted.

Businessman and film producer Shibaji Panja, who accompanied Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on her three-day Bangladesh visit, was detained at the airport by a Delhi Police team in connection with a fraud case.

He was detained by the immigration at the NSC Bose International Airport shortly after Banerjee, along with the entourage, a senior official of the Bidhan Nagar Commissionerate said.
