Saradha scam: Top MHA official tried to stall arrest of ex-minister Matang Sinh

A top ministry of home affairs (MHA) official may be asked to go for allegedly trying to influence the CBI to go slow in the case of Matang Sinh who was arrested by the investigating agency on Saturday in connection with the multi-crore Saradha scam.

According to home ministry sources, the top home ministry official called up two top CBI officials before the arrest of Matang Sinh allegedly seeking to go slow in the probe.
