Delhi Police have recovered the iPhone which was provided by Uber to the accused driver. The smartphone was recovered from Mathura by a Delhi Police team which had gone there with the accused Shiv Kumar Yadav on Tuesday in search of the phone. The police have already recovered two of the three phones used by Yadav.
12: 40 pm: Delhi High Court has admitted case against Uber and other cab companies offering App services for violation of IT laws. These companies have not appointed grievance officer which is violation of court order on August 23, 2013.
11:30 am: Eric Alexander, Asia Pacific head of Uber, has been asked to join the probe. Alexander met senior police officials last night and will also be questioned today.
10:00 am: Delhi Police are getting in touch with Nidhi Shah after she revealed on social media about her complaint to Uber . The police have asked people who may have any other complaints against Uber to come forward. The Police may use skype and also get a written statement from Nidhi Shah to make a water tight against Uber.
9:00 am: Authorities in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have banned cab service provider Uber.
