In yet another shocking incident, a six-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in a private school here in the fourth such case in as many months.
Meanwhile, parents of the victim along with some other people staged protest outside the school Friday morning demanding action against school administration.
It is being learnt that the suspected accused who was detained has confessed to the crime.
Reacting to recent rape incidents in school premises, Karnataka Chief Minister S Siddaramaiah opined that as students are being sexually assaulted in school, it is the duty of the institution to take care and prevent such incidents.
Siddaramaiah confirmed that police have taken action and the accused has been arrested.
