Madhya Pradesh police on Sunday confirmed five terror suspects who escaped after a mystery blast at a house in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor area were Khandwa jailbreak fugitives, Aizazuddin alias Aizaz, Zakeer Hussain alias Sadiq Badrul, Mehboob alias Guddu Khan, Aslam Ayub Khan and Amzad Ramzan Khan.

The five SIMI operatives had escaped from Khandwa jail on October 1, 2013, by scaling a 16-foot high wall along with the MP chief of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) Abu Faisal alias Doctor. Faisal, accused of terror strikes in Gujarat, was arrested two months later. Others dodged the police. This is the second time, the fugitives gave the slip. Last time, they wriggled out of the police net in Odisha even as MP anti-terrorist squad was waiting outside their rented house.
