'Terror Suspects' seen on CCTV footage in Uttarakhand turn out to be College students

Eight young men, seen in a CCTV footage and suspected to be terrorists, have turned out to be students of a local college, police said after a manhunt for them in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand police had yesterday released a CCTV grab of a terror "suspect" seen in the company of seven others who, it said, could be his associates. "The identity of the youth sighted in the CCTV grab has been verified. They are students of Doon Bible College at Rajpur road. They were returning late on Monday night from St Thomas' Church in two groups of four each when their movement was recorded by a CCTV installed in the area," Dehradun SSP Sadanand Date said.
