After unpredicted rains triggered in the region of himachal and near by areas, flash floods and landslides across Himachal Pradesh, there may finally be some respite for those who have been affected. Heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh on September 24 claimed eight lives and hundreds, including school students, were stranded in the state as incessant rainfall for the third straight day triggered landslides and snapped over 200 road links.
