Minorities commission to probe Adityanath tape

National commission for Minorities to probe BJP MP Yogi Adityanath’s hate video. The National Commission for Minorities on Thursday agreed to investigate a complaint against Bharatiya Janata Party parliamentarian Yogi Adityanath for communalising the issue of violence against women. The complaint, lodged with the NCM by social activists, refers to a video of Yogi shot probably in 2009 in which he is seen addressing a gathering. The video surfaced on social media earlier this week.
In the speeches-a series of video clips have been put together - Yogi's statements range from saying Muslims in Gorakhpur will be denied permission to take out 'tazia' processions during Moharram and another where he claims that 100 Muslim girls would be converted forcibly to Hinduism for every Hindu girl asked to embrace Islam. In another video, Yogi also says Hindus will avenge every innocent death by attacking those responsible for it.
