Election Commission calls for probe into Chhattisgarh Tape Row

The political storm in Chhattisgarh has engulfed top politicians as a tape has emerged purportedly establishing money being exchanged to drop a Congress candidate from contesting by-elections. While Ajit Jogi - son for former CM Amit Jogi has denied the charges. The Congress party has served him a notice. There are calls for resignation of Chief Minister Raman Singh and amid all the political drama and threats to sue those behind the expose. The biggest news has come from the Election Commission which has ordered an enquiry. States Chief Secretary now has seven days to submit his report.
