Cloudburst claims 6 lives in Tehri, Uttarakhand

Six people are feared dead after a cloudburst in the Ghansali block in Uttarakhand's Tehri district, it has been reported.
Only last month, survivors marked a year since the devastating floods in Uttarakhand that claimed the lives of thousands of people. The floods and landslides, triggered by heavier than normal monsoon rains in June last year killed thousands of people in Uttarakhand, a popular Hindu pilgrimage destination and many still remain missing.
