Nation at 9: Sonia alleges political vendetta

Days after a local court summoned Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her son and party vice president Rahul Gandhi in connection with the National Herald land grab case, media reports on Wednesday said that the Income Tax department may soon issue a notice to the grand old party.

It has now emerged that the I-T department may ask the Congress to explain why not the tax exemptions being given to the party be withdrawn.
