Uddhav Thackeray to attend Modi's swearing-in
  • 5 years ago
Earlier this week, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray had said the new government should adopt an aggressive "tit-for-tat" policy towards Pakistan.
Thackeray, who was in Delhi on Tuesday for a meeting of the NDA that chose Modi as its Parliamentary Party leader, had said India should teach Pakistan a "lesson" if it created trouble for the country.
Uddhav had also said there was no change in the position of his party that India should not have cricketing ties with Pakistan as long as attacks against the country continued.
Sena has 18 members in the new Lok Sabha and aspires for a few ministerial berths in the Modi government.
