D-Day for Modi aide Amit Shah, CBI to press charges

PM-designate Narendra Modi's aide Amit Shah is expected to appear before a special CBI court here on Friday.
On May 9, the court issued summons to 36 accused, including Shah, in the 2006 Tulsiram Prajapati fake encounter case. Prajapati was an accomplice of Sohrabuddin Sheikh, who was gunned down in a fake encounter in 2005. Tulsiram was killed in a similar operation in 2006. Two accused in the Tulsiram case, retired IPS officer O P Mathur and deputy SP R K Patel surrendered before the same court during the last hearing.
