After Congress's Ajay Rai was seen sporting the party symbol inside the poll booth, more allegations of violation of the Model Code of Conduct have come to the fore in Poorvanchal. While the last phase of voting was on, the Bharatiya Janata Party has objected to UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's picture on the laptop of a poll officer in Chandauli.
"The photograph of Akhilesh Yadav is on the laptop being used by a poll officer inside the polling booth. This is clear violation. In the EC, there is some slip somewhere that needs to be plugged," said BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad.
