2 activists arrested for drawing anti-Mamata graffiti

Two SFI activists were arrested on Saturday for making 'derogatory' remarks against CM Mamata Banerjee in a wall graffiti at Habra in North 24-Parganas. The two have been identified as Abhijit Halder and Samik Das. Both are BA second year students at a Habra college.
The graffiti was on the boundary wall of a house at Tinamtala under Maslandapur Block No.1 in Habra. State food minister and Trinamool observer in North 24-Parganas, Jyotipriya Mallick, said he had noticed the graffiti last Sunday. He claimed that the graffiti was made after instructions from Bongaon's CPM candidate Debesh Das. Das, however rubbished the allegation.
