Congress leader and Union steel minister Beni Prasad Verma has called the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi a "goon" of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

He also attacked BJP president Rajnath Singh calling him a slave.Addressing a rally in his constituency in Gonda, Verma said Mahatma Gandhi was killed because of the RSS and the BJP.
