India Debate: Can Congress hope to quell its Minority mutiny with Shinde's skull cap 'symbolism'?

Rahul Gandhi's insistence on six anti-corruption bills seems to have back fired. The minority faces of the Congress publicly chided the party leadership on the issue of the Prevention of Communal Violence Bill.

Both Minority Affairs Minister Rehman Khan and Rashid Alvi expressed displeasure that Centre did not pass the bill as an ordinance.

"I'm really disappointed with it and have raised the matter with both the Prime Minister and Congress president Sonia Gandhi," said Rehman Khan.
