Sanjay Dutt parole: Law must be equal for all, says Uddhav Thackeray

The parole of actor Sanjay Dutt, convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, has been extended by one more month by the district authorities. Opposition parties Shivsena and the BJP have targeted the Congress over preferential treatment to Dutt. Pune Divisional Commissioner approved Dutt's application on the grounds of his wife Manyata's ill health.
Sanjay Dutt's frequent extensions have given the opposition in Maharashtra another opportunity to target the Congress. Drawing equals between Dutt and Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pragya and Col Purohit Shivsena President Uddhav Thackeray said '' Law should be equal for all, why different set of rules for Sadhvi Pragya, Col. Purohit and Sanjay Dutt.
