Baby dumped like waste in Delhi - NewsX

The staff of a private hospital in west Delhi allegedly dumped the body of a newborn girl into a truck carrying garbage even as her parents fulfilled the formalities for its handover. The parents claimed to have reached just in time to recover the body, mistaken as an "unclaimed corpse".
Rajesh Kumar, from Janakpuri, had taken his wife to Mata Chanan Devi Hospital after their baby's head started swelling. "After the baby's death, we said we would return in the morning to collect the body and agreed to pay Rs 1,500 as the mortuary fee," said Ashok Kumar, Rajesh's brother.
