Rawang factory dumped chemical waste into sewage system

Police have raided a factory lot in Taman Velox, Rawang believed to be responsible for dumping several thousand litres of scheduled waste which caused the pollution in Sungai Selangor yesterday.

Police suspect that the scheduled waste was dumped into the Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) sewage system through a sewage manhole near a toilet in the factory lot.
