Milind Deora's strong message to Congress - NewsX

In a clear sign of discord within the Congress party over the rejection of the Adarsh Commission's report, Union Minister for Information and Technology Milind Deora tweeted on Tuesday night, "If the Adarsh report raises questions we should investigate (agnostic of party or bureaucracy), answer them and not be hush."

Mr. Deora's stand is significant since he is considered close to Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi. Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan had earlier said he had no choice but to reject the report given the unanimous decision to do so by the state cabinet.

The Maharashtra government's rejection of the report has given the BJP ammunition to attack it over the issue of corruption
