Article 377: Provisions of Section 377 IPC will continue to govern non-consensual sex

The Centre has filed a review petition against the Supreme Court's ruling on Section 377 that criminalises homosexuality. The Congress had voiced out disappointment over the apex court's order after it had set aside the Delhi High Court ruling that decriminalised homosexuality, saying gay sex is illegal. "The Govt has filed the review petition on #377 in the Supreme Court today. Let's hope the right to personal choices is preserved," Law Minister Kapil Sibal tweeted.
