MCD election results 2017: In the wake of the counting for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) results, former Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit blamed lacklustre ‘campaigning’ for the party’s loss in the polls. She said, “Aggressive campaign karna chahiye tha, maine campaign nahi kiya kyunki kisi ne mujhe kaha hi nahi.” (The party should have carried out a more aggressive election campaign, I did not do any campaigning because no one asked me to.) Further she talked about the lastest EVM issue that has been going on for some days now. She said, “EC aur Government ko duvidha duur karni chahiye, par jo haarta hai vo kehta hai EVM kharab hai, jo jeetta hai vo kehta hai theek hai.” (The Election Commission and the government should solve the problem but whoever loses blames the EVM and whoever wins says that these are fine.)
