Fodder scam: Quantum of sentence on Lalu Prasad Yadav today

A special CBI court will on Thursday decide the fate of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, convicted in the multi-crore fodder scam along with 44 others, as it will pronounce the quantum of sentence.
Lalu Prasad Yadav, along with 37 others convicted in the case, including former Bihar Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra, who were sent to Ranchi's Birsa Munda jail on Monday will be sentenced via video conferencing.
The conviction disqualifies Lalu from Parliament and renders him ineligible for contesting elections for at least six years.
